To change your default mail or news reader

  1. On the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
  2. Under Network, click Protocol Helpers.
  3. To change your default mail reader, click "mailto" and then click Change.
  4. Click Choose Helper.
  5. Select the program you want to use to read mail, and then click OK.
    To change your default news reader, repeat steps 3 through 5, choosing "news" in step 3 and the program you want to use to read news in step 5.

To send a link to a Web site in a mail message

  1. Visit the Web site whose link you want to send in a mail message.
  2. In the Address bar, select the complete Web address.
  3. On the Edit menu, choose Copy.
  4. Click the Mail button on the button bar.
  5. In Internet Mail and News, click the mouse button in the message window, and then choose Paste from the Edit menu.
